En el marc del projecte Erasmus+ que tenim acreditat a l’Escola Industrial, hem començat l’any amb l’estada de llarga durada. Això significa que quatre alumnes de 4t d’ESO: la Júlia, el Víctor, la Tinuke i la Mar han anat a la ciutat austríaca de Graz per assistir a les classes de l’institut de secundària Borg durant cinc setmanes. Durant el primer trimestre, una alumna d’aquest institut, la Valeria, va venir al nostre centre per viure una experiència similar.
L’institut de Graz consta de 900 alumnes i està especialitzat en arts, música, tecnologia i esports. La majoria dels alumnes provenen de centres molt diferents i de llocs geogràfics no sempre propers, ja que a Àustria, els alumnes poden escollir l’institut en funció de les matèries que vulguin cursar i de les especialitzats que ofereixin. Els nostres alumnes faran un horari adaptat i conviuran amb famílies que tenen alumnes en el centre.
De moment, l’acollida ha estat molt positiva. El fred no els ha sorprès perquè ja estaven advertits i l’alemany és el que se’ls fa més difícil. Tant la coordinadora de l’Erasmus+, com les famílies d’acollida s’han mostrat molt receptives i atentes al que puguin necessitar i ells s’estan organitzant amb els nous horaris i rutines. Alguns s’han de llevar molt d’hora per anar al centre!
